古谷千佳子プロフィール
東京都出身、沖縄県読谷村在住。
1990 年に沖縄県に移住し、潜水士、小型一級船舶操縦士、ダイビングインストラクター等習得。読谷村で海の魅力を伝えながら、写真家に。
海、自然と調和する人々の暮らしや伝統漁業、祭祀などをを撮影している。
Born in Tokyo, currently residing in Yomitan Village, Okinawa Prefecture.
She moved to Okinawa in 1990 and acquired qualifications as a commercial diver, a small-class first-grade boat operator, and a diving instructor. While sharing the charm of the sea in Yomitan, she became a photographer.
She photographs the lives of people living in harmony with the sea and nature, as well as traditional fishing practices and ritual ceremonies.
